About Cheeka

Cheeka is slowly progressing with us but she remains quite nervous in new situations and with new people. She can be caught in the field by known handlers and is improving with getting her feet done (our farrier is very patient!). She’s been stalled next to her friend, and did okay, but doesn’t love the stall life – preferring instead to be out in the pasture with her friends. She has plenty of potential both as a companion and as a training project, but she’ll need experienced and patient humans to show her the world isn’t as scary as she thinks.
