About Phoenix

Like his namesake, there’s only one of this guy at any given time! And, like his namesake, he’s one radiant looking gelding. This handsome guy is ready to begin his training life. He’ll need a lot of work on confidence building out in the “real world” as he can show some fearful behaviors, especially when he’s out by himself. That being said, the better he knows his handler, the more comfortable he is. And if there are other more experienced horses around it helps. But trust us, he’ll be worth the time and effort to build a solid relationship with his new humans. He’s had a saddle on but will need more work on the ground before he’s ready for a rider. He makes horse friends easily and has done well out in pasture with them. And extra bonus: he’s one quick learning horse!
