WILD HORSES DON’T DESERVE THIS

Help us put a stop to the slaughter

Wild horses and burros are recognized by the federal government as heritage species with rights to public rangelands. But the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will round-up herds using helicopters and auction them off to meat buyers, unless we stop them. They’ve done it before.

We’re advocating for a full return to the Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burro Act of 1971. We believe there should be a scientific analysis of damage done to federal lands by cattle before awarding new grazing allocations. We’re also advocating for fertility control of wild herds through humanely administered birth control and a plan to maintain thriving populations of wild equines.
